Everyone has their own means of coping with life; some play sports, some turn to art, others bury themselves in their work, and others write. I am a writer. My writing doesn't define who I am, it isn't a special ability I like to brag about...after all my writing comes from my thoughts...and my thoughts come from my soul...and my soul is the essence of who I truly am. Obviously my grammer doesn't prove to be great...but...im not trying to impress a professor or get an A on my paper...im writing how I see fit as im letting the words flow. How I handle the stresses of my life and what it brings to my days is by writing poetry and expressing my thoughts. I don't work hard on my writing, I write it once and if I feel relieved I stop...I don't edit. Not that this information is important but I figured i'd just let you know what your in for....if you decide to proceed. Love has it's own category because love is a major influence and attribute to my life and happiness, everything else is crammed into the Other Poems category. A word of caution: Some of my poems can be really offensive and contain sexual material.
